Advanced Material Doctoral Program (ADMA-DP) KAVA-project funded by EIT RawMaterials, organizes First Intensive Training school for doctoral students at the University of Oulu, Finland. Doctoral students, company, and municipality representatives, as well as other interested parties, are warmly welcome to attend!

The main idea of the school is to add innovation and entrepreneurship mindset for people working in the Raw Materials field by providing knowledge and skills for product management. Well managed products are an essential success factor for various sized companies, from SMEs to large industrial consortiums. Although products are the instruments that bring income for enterprises often they are not properly managed or acknowledged. The courses that are offered provide a chance to strengthen your knowledge and career opportunities in industry, research or in an own company!

Teachers are highly qualified professionals; Dr Arto Tolonen, Dr Jukka Majava and Professor Harri Haapasalo from the Industrial Engineering and Management Research Unit, University of Oulu. The combination of strong industrial background and the latest research knowledge provide a holistic view on the course topics.

The First Intensive Training school gives first two courses on topics: New product development and Productisation, at the University of Oulu, Finland, 14-27 August 2017.

The Second Intensive Training school provides third (and possibly fourth) course under topics Product Management and Product portfolio management at Tallinn University of Technology, Estonia, on May 2018.
