Social License to Operate in the Arctic regarding exploration, mining and processing – what is best practice and what have and can be done

EIT RawMaterials, GEUS and partners in the ArcHub project invite you to the 3rd EIT RawMaterials ArcHub event in Nuuk, Greenland. The meeting will be held on 16-17  August ending with an excursion the 2nd day. The event is arranged by the Geological Survey of Denmark and Greenland, GEUS.

ArcHub is an EIT RawMaterials network with the aim of promoting environmentally and socially sustainable resource exploration and extraction in the Arctic region.

The ArcHub event aims to bring together a range of stakeholders from the Arctic region within education, business, research, government, and other organizations in a forum for sharing knowledge, experience and for strengthening synergies.

The Program: The 3rd ArcHub meeting will include a number of invited talks from speakers within education, business and research. These talks will set focus on Social License to Operate in the Arctic regarding exploration, mining and processing – what is the best practice and what have and can be done.

Included in the program is time for stakeholders’ ideas on future EIT RawMaterials initiatives and projects related to social license; please see this as your opportunity to discuss your ideas and needs and business opportunities.

We would prefer to keep the invitation open. Yet, there is a size limit to the excursion; seats will be prioritized to speakers and partners of the ArcHub.
