Technological Solutions for an Integral Urban Growth

Technological solutions for an integral urban growth aims to create spaces that promote the generation of technology-based businesses between Europe and Latin American in order to address the main challenges of the country in sustainable growth’s terms. It is proposed to address 6 main challenges:

1. Sustainable Construction
2. Renewable energy, energy efficiency
3. Territorial and urban planning
4. Mobility / Transport
5. Drinking Water and sanitation
6. Waste treatment
   

In this sense, it will involve the participation of the main actors of the private sector, the state, and the academy focused on sustainable local management, from Latin America and Europe.

OBJECTIVES:

• Identify the current situation of the country challenges in order to development sustainable cities.
  
• Promote the creation of networks between the attendees to the event, encouraging the technological development and the creation of strategic alliances.
• Share public and private initiatives in the country, as well as exchange successful experiences of sustainable cities.
• Present the technological capabilities of European companies that address the challenges of the country.
• Generate bilateral meetings between potential European and Latin American partners, in order to promote the co-generation of concrete opportunities, through a Business Roundtable.

This year, the ELAN Network Peru event will establish synergies with the Expo Energy Efficiency Fair- EEE 2017 (5-8 July), a fair linked to the energy sector that has been take place since 2013 and this year will be focus in “Renewable energy and innovation for industry and cities”, encompassing areas such as renewable energies, LED technologies and sustainable construction.  

Both events are closely associated with sustainable cities’ topic, reason for which synergies in order to have multiplier results and access to special promotions for ELAN Network Peru event attendees. To know more about the benefits of this agreement, contact to peru@elannetwork.org

Also during the same week will be developed the International Fair EXPOARCON, the International Meeting for Supplier for Construction, Infrastructure Development, Real State Development and Architecture and Engineering, belonging to the construction and infrastructure sector.
