Closing the loop: discover solutions and opportunities for a circular future
The transition to a circular economy is essential in the efforts to reduce dependency on raw materials supply and create sustainable growth. EIT RawMaterials aims to design solutions to close material loops through resource-efficient processing and keeping materials in the society as long as possible, using new product design approaches for circularity, reuse, recycling, repairing and remanufacturing.
This year, EIT RawMaterials, in collaboration with our partners FLAXRES, ROSI and Veolia Deutschland, will be joining E-Waste World Conference & Expo 2021 that will take place as an in-person event in Frankfurt, Germany, on 30 November – 1 December 2021. E-Waste World will gather companies active in recycling, sharing the vision of closing the loop on the global E-Waste challenge.
The conference brings together many globally renowned experts to discuss key challenges like recycling of lithium-ion batteries from e-mobility transportation, PV panels, IoT, 5G and much more. The 2019 conference welcomed over 1,000 participants including manufacturers and suppliers, recyclers, science and academia, policymakers, NGOs and research institutions.
EIT RawMaterials will present opportunities for Innovation, Education, and Entrepreneurship across European industrial ecosystems. Meet EIT RawMaterials and partners FLAXRES, ROSI and Veolia Deutschland showcasing a sustainable solution for the high-grade PV module recovery value chain: The ReProSolar innovation project aims to demonstrate a highly efficient and dedicated industrial-scale process to recycle End-of-Life PV-modules by implementing innovative technologies.
Join us at E-Waste World Conference & Expo 2021 to discuss sustainable solutions for a globally competitive and resilient future of Europe!
