Regional View on Circular Economy: from local experiences to EU Policy

The aRAWness side event will provide a platform during Raw Materials Week to illustrate the results and outcomes from the three aRAWness regional workshops in Budapest, Aachen and Ljubljana. The project results on circular economy will lead to a discussion on the following themes and questions:

  1. What types of activities do regions develop and implement to raise awareness of and build capacity on circular economy?
  2. What are best practices and regional success stories from the project? A closer look at the circular economy programmes in Flanders, the Netherlands and ACR+ Network of Regions and Cities
  3. How are regions collaborating and interacting on circular economy initiatives?
  4. How can the European Commission support circular economy in the regions?
