Date, time & location

Monday, 25 September 2017, 9h-12h; Berlin, Scandic Hotel at Berlin Potsdamer Platz.

Room Copenhagen (2nd floor), back to back with the EIT RawMaterials Information and Brokerage event.

Background

Rama-Scene is an EIT RawMaterials project that helps decision-makers at micro/company level and macro/government level to assess the implications of choices with regard to resource-efficiency improvements on security of supply, resource-efficiency, circularity and economic performance. Target groups hence are supply chain managers, designers and business strategists in companies and policy makers within government. For this aim, the project will develop a blended learning package complemented by an interactive web-based platform to analyse scenarios for raw materials. The project is executed by Leiden University, VITO, TU Delft and Fraunhofer.

Workshop objectives

The workshop aims to gather information from stakeholders to develop a joint understanding of the needs and requirements for a blended learning package:

  • Which educational objectives should be satisfied from the education package?
  • Which technical features are useful to satisfy analytical needs of the tool’s users?

Workshop participants hence can strongly influence the development of the tool. If desirable, we can engage workshop participants in the further process and give them early access to the tool, next to acknowledge them on the project website. We organise the workshop back to back with the EIT RawMaterials Matchmaking event, so that participants can easily join by travelling a few hours earlier to Berlin, Germany.

Participants

Potential users of the blended learning package and web-based tool, from industry and education, are welcomed to participate in the discussion.
