Let’s develop solutions for more sustainable circular cities!

Mark your calendar: 6-17 September 2021

Supported by the EIT RawMaterials Academy, CircuCity project will host a summer school, a 2-week online tournament which aims to train young individuals to think outside the box!

The participants will be divided into small groups and allocated to 3 different cities: Ghent (Belgium), Krakow (Poland), Mondragón (Spain/Basque Country). These groups will be required to re-design a city district considering the local water, energy, and raw material resources.

With the help of various interactive seminars, expert lectures as well as thematic modules, this challenge-based programme teaches the trainees to think critically and develop innovative solutions for the problems throughout the seminar.

At the end of the summer school, the participants will present their ideas to all the groups and the best ideas will be chosen during the CircuCity award ceremony.
