Astana Mining & Metallurgy (AMM) Congress and Exhibition
EIT RawMaterials will be present at the Astana Mining & Metallurgy (AMM) Congress and Exhibition in Kazakhstan, connecting Europe and Central Asia through critical raw materials.
The Astana Mining & Metallurgy Congress is one of the most important industry gatherings in Central Asia, bringing together key stakeholders from mining, metallurgy, and industrial development.
The event serves as a platform to explore regional opportunities, strengthen partnerships, and advance cooperation across the raw materials value chain.
Why This Matters
As Europe strengthens its global partnerships on critical raw materials, Central Asia plays an increasingly strategic role.
Participation in AMM enables:
- Strengthening collaboration between the EU and Kazakhstan on critical raw materials
- Exploring investment and project opportunities in the region
- Supporting the development of resilient and diversified supply chains
Advancing international cooperation under the CRM Facility

As part of the programme, the CRM Facility — in collaboration with INTPA and the EU Delegation — will organise a field visit to several critical raw materials project sites across the country, offering direct insight into local capabilities and investment potential.
EIT RawMaterials will contribute through staff participation, engagement in Commission-led activities, and co-organisation of key initiatives.
