EIT RawMaterials Innovation Hub South and ADACI will offer the opportunity for a professional Master Class on Circular Supply Chain for entrepreneurs, supply managers and public authorities

ADACI – the Italian association of purchasing and supply management and member of the European Raw Materials Alliance (ERMA) – has co-developed the professional course “Master Class on Circular Supply Chain” with support from EIT RawMaterials Innovation Hub South and selected EIT RawMaterials funded projects in lifelong learning education.

The course will target professionals and entrepreneurs interested in circular economy business opportunities, as well as supply chain managers, sustainability managers and officials in authorities and governments. The Master Class will provide insights on how to orchestrate socio-technical changes towards the circular economy and enhance new value creation. At the end of the course, the attendees will be able to understand the concept of business model with implications for business strategy and competitiveness and will be introduced to the analysis of critical raw materials that may affect governments or companies with strategies for mitigating or exploiting criticality.

The Master Class will consist of four modules focusing on:

  1. Basic concepts of Circular Economy (VTT, Finland)
  2. Circular business models (University of Trento, Italy)
  3. Industrial symbiosis and Life Cycle Assessment (ENEA, Italy)
  4. Circular Economy and supply management (University of Leiden, Netherlands)

The training will be online with four hours of dedication per module (16 hours total) in four days distributed in two weeks on the second half of November 2021.
