TU Delft (the Netherlands), Wuppertal Institute (Germany) and VTT (Finland), Partners of EIT RawMaterials, are organising a webinar on Wednesday, 21 March, from 16:30 to 17:15 CET.

The program will include a short introduction covering EIT RawMaterials, an in depth session on remanufacturing, using several pre-recorded interview packages, and next steps for companies as well as for EIT RawMaterials. The hosts are: Dr. David Peck and Ir. Nina Boorsma, both from TU Delft.

This webinar is organised as part of ReUK, an innovation project supported by EIT RawMaterials, aimed at developing entrepreneurial support and activity.

ReUK: Bridging the raw materials knowledge gap for reuse and remanufacturing professionals

The project ReUK will develop life-long education services tailor-made for the needs of the reuse- and remanufacturing sector in Europe in order to reduce the demand for raw materials in Europe. Education services will take the form of workshops that can be given online (webinar) or integrated into existing physical attendance-courses. Supported by the developed material, professionals should learn:

  • how to identify opportunities for reuse and remanufacturing;
  • how to test if a product/groups of products can be reused or remanufactured, from a design, logistics and business perspective;
  • how to develop a reuse and/or remanufacturing business.
