Achieving the SDGs in the face of climate and COVID-19 emergencies requires testing new and different approaches to impact. Experience and research show that complex, systemic challenges like climate change cannot be tackled with linear, project or programming-mindsets. We no longer have time for incremental improvements, but rather must now unlock transformations. If we are to unlock rapid and unprecedented transformations, we need to shift the paradigm from single-point solutions to directional systems innovation.
