The event ELAN Network Argentina 2017 will allow attendees to find new international partners and create strong networks and lasting relationships. It will have different activities, whose main objective will be the generation of new technology-based opportunities, the consolidation of existing ones between European and Argentine companies as well as strategic alliances with a multiplier effect. Among other sessions, the event will include activities aimed at:

  • Identify and explore the technological and market challenges that Argentina has as a country, based on the Argentina Innovative Strategic Plan 2020.
  • Present the offer of European companies, as well as their response to the challenges of the country raised and the needs of local partners to carry out new business.
  • Through the co-creation sessions, bring together the capacities of actors from both continents, to develop ideas of cooperation in new technology-based business opportunities.
  • Discuss concrete business ideas, through bilateral meetings between participants.

The event is focused on the sectors of Renewable Energies, Industry 4.0 and ICTs, taking into consideration the potential to generate business and successful interactions between local and European players. These sectors have been chosen because of their great growth potential in Argentina.

It seeks to strengthen the existing actions and collaboration programs in Argentina in the area of innovation between the EU and LAC to give continuity to actions, enhance the impact of each initiative and simplify the agenda for those companies and institutions in Europe that are interested In joining.

This meeting will again be an opportunity to engage with the main public / private actors in the sectors defined in Argentina and the region, promoting a methodology of meetings and networking among all participants.
