The Life Cycle Management conference series is the leading forum worldwide bringing together more than 600 scholars and practitioners from more than 40 countries working in industry, academia and public institutions in the domain of life cycle sustainability and circular economy. The LCM 2017 organisation committee aims at increasing the share of businesses participants.

Adopting and implementing a life cycle perspective is crucial when developing sustainable solutions. Sound decision making and strategic planning, taking into account environmental, economic and social aspects of different options and scenarios, obviously needs transparent and objective life cycle frameworks, methodologies and tools.

On 3-6 September in Luxembourg City, Luxembourg, the conference thread of LCM 2017 is: “Designing sustainable technologies, products and policies: from science to innovation”, aiming at demonstrating the implementation of Life Cycle approaches. The objective is to discuss and advance the implementation of Life Cycle approach and Circular Economy along the businesses value chain, supporting environmental, social and economic sustainability related to the development of industrial technologies, products, services and policies.

EIT RawMaterials will be present with a booth at LCM 2017.

The EIT RawMaterials community brings together many European key actors from industry, research and academia. It has the mission to boost competitiveness, growth and attractiveness of the European raw materials sector via radical innovation and guided entrepreneurship. Initiated by the EIT (European Institute of Innovation and Technology) and funded by the European Commission, it runs an important portfolio of actions and projects aimed at realising new, innovative solutions to secure the supplies and improve the raw materials sector all along its life cycles and value chains. Indeed, life cycle management is an indispensable topic in this context.
