BE-Mat 2018 Start-up pitching session and Researchers competition

If you are a start-up or researcher involved in the applications of interest of BE-Mat (Advanced Materials, Recycling, Circular Economy) and you are looking for investors or industrial validation, register to participate to the event and apply to the Start-up pitching session or Researcher Competition. You will be contacted and asked to provide a short presentation of your idea, that will be pre-assessed by organisers.

Shortlisted start-ups and researchers will get pitch training prior the event and will present during the event in front of industrial representatives and investors and be awarded:

• a prize of €1 000 to the best start-up offered by EIT RawMaterials
• a prize of €1 000 to the best idea from research offered from DayOne

Challenges

• Recycling of industrial scraps and end-of-life products: metals, WEEE, automotive, composites, tyres, precious metals
• Substitution of Critical Raw Materials: new solutions for batteries, electric motors, flame retardants, LEDs
• Advanced materials & biomaterial: ceramics, biopolymers, elastomers, composites and rubber
• Circular economy and Circular Business Models
