On 28-30 September 2020, EnAct-SDGs 1st Summer School will include a three days hands-on webinar on Innovation & Entrepreneurship for the Raw Materials industry. The programme is driven by the UN Sustainable Development Goals and circular economy principles. Students will tackle on challenges proposed by the industry to generate business ideas and improve existing solutions; they will acquire new skills, learn to use novel tools and develop a mindset that will help to build up their careers as innovation professionals.

Enhancing the skills of East and South-East Europe (ESEE) Raw Materials students towards the achievement of SDGs

The School is part of the pilot activities of the EnAct-SDGs project supported by EIT Raw Materials.

The main goal of the EnAct-SDGs Project is to build a dynamic, self-sustained network between the Academia, Researchers, Industry and Professionals of the Raw Materials sector and develop an Action Plan that will act as a driver to:

  • modernize the Raw Materials University education practices
  • ensure the incorporation of the Sustainable Development principles in the educational programs of the ESEE Universities
  • strengthen the skills and increase the capacity of Raw Material University graduates and Raw Materials professionals

The School is organised by Technical University of Kosice together with Università degli Studi di Trento – UniTrento and Hub Innovazione Trentino – Fondazione

Trainers will come from the Best Practice providers: Montanuniversität Leoben – MUL, Technische Universität Bergakademie Freiberg –TUBAF, Università degli Studi di Trento – UniTrento, Hub Innovazione Trentino – Fondazione – HIT.

The participation in the School is free of charge for the selected students, but there are limited seats available.
