Info: The RACE 2020 is planned to go ahead on 26 July – 9 August 2020! However, given the situation with COVID-19 is constantly changing, the RACE Project Management Team will continue to monitor all developments related to COVID-19 and will follow advice provided by EIT RawMaterials, World Health Organization (WHO), national governments of EU Member States and actions taken by other EU agencies. Updates about the RACE 2020 will be provided as appropriate and always in a timely manner to the participants, Showcase Partners and everyone involved.

Students

Eligibility criteria:

  • Students currently enrolled on a Master programme at a European university, having completed minimum 1 year
  • Ability to travel in Europe, if non-EU national *
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English (English is instruction language of the RACE 2020)
  • Only for students who have not participated in RACE 2019

Facilitators

Eligibility criteria:

  • PhD candidate or young professional
  • Ability to travel in Europe, if non-EU national*
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English (English is instruction language of the RACE 2020)
  • Only for PhD candidates or young professionals who have not participated in RACE 2019

* Please note: All participants must be able to travel in Schengen countries. Unfortunately, we are not able to provide visa invitation letters nor assist in providing support in obtaining visas. For example, Albania is not a Schengen country. A non-EU participant enrolled at or working for a university in Albania must have a visa to travel to/from Schengen countries.
