Nominate students or graduates at bachelor’s, master’s or PhD level for outstanding thesis projects

EIT RawMaterials Academy is delighted to announce the 2019 Future Mobility Lighthouse Awards, which focus on the importance of ensuring innovation skill development in the raw materials sector. The prizes are awarded to the student(s) who is/are judged to have done the best thesis dissertation relating to technical innovations for batteries or lightweighting. They will be awarded in conjunction with the EIT RawMaterials Future Mobility Lighthouse event in Turin, from 7 to 9 October 2019. Award winners will have the opportunity to present their theses at this event, with their attendance including travel and accommodation funded by EIT RawMaterials. In addition to the honour and attention, the award winners will receive a certificate and a cash prize of €1 500. One winner will also receive an additional reward of €500 for the best thesis presentation at the event.

The prize also includes an award dinner with parts of EIT RawMaterials management team as well as partners and stakeholders. Nominations of individuals/student groups for their thesis work is open to individuals who attended The RACE and students based at EIT RawMaterials partner organisations. The deadline for nominations is 9 September 2019.

Qualifying theses should have been completed within the last 18 months. Entries will be scored by a panel of experts, and decisions based on the nominator’s statement and thesis abstract. Please note that the judges’ decision is final.
