We are excited to announce EIT RawMaterials partners for this year’s Digital Education Hackathon, the DigiEduHack, where five EIT Innovation Communities will launch 50 Hackathon events across Europe and beyond on 3 October 2019.
The DigiEduHack is an European Institute of Innovation & Technology (EIT) initiative under the European Commission‘s Digital Education Action Plan, aiming to identify key challenges for education in the digital age and co-create innovative solutions to support industry, educators, and the next generation of learners.
During the Hackathon, EIT RawMaterials and our supported partners will look at innovative and creative ways to embed a culture of zero harm in high risk environments by using digital tools and technologies such as virtual reality, augmented reality and gamification to create digital learning solutions for the workplace that could be used for professional training or development.
EIT RawMaterials supported partners are:
- Dublin, Ireland: Trinity College Dublin in collaboration with Learnovate Centre and Tangent
- Oulu, Finland:Â Oulu University of Applied Sciences and Oulu Mining School
- Leuven, Belgium: KU Leuven in collaboration with LCIE Bureau Veritas
