EIT RawMaterials Alumni has taken an important next step in the appointment of the first board. The founding board members come from a diverse range of backgrounds and EIT RawMaterials activities, bringing a wealth of experience and enthusiasm to their roles.
Denis Gontcharov, alumnus of the EIT-labelled SUMA master’s programme, was appointed President of the Board.
After having witnessed the strong motivation of our alumni at the Inaugural Meeting in Berlin, I felt an intense desire to help shape EIT RawMaterials Alumni. Therefore, I feel incredibly honoured to be selected as the President of EIT RawMaterials Alumni. Most of all I’m pleased with the composition of our board. Our diversity in terms of culture, education and experience makes us well equipped to put the ideas from the Inaugural Meeting into action and to pave the way for our successors.

The next major objective consists of formulating a strategy involving not only future alumni but also the partners of EIT RawMaterials.
We firmly believe that our ambitions, such as continuous professional development for our alumni and encouraging entrepreneurship, require strong mutual cooperation.
