Based on a need for raw material solutions for a sustainable European mobility industry, PhD students will be trained as future experts in manufacturing, design and material science. In addition, they are coached to develop a circular perspective, innovation competence and an entrepreneurial mind set focusing on recyclability of new materials. 

 The course combines: 

• Learning sessions in OPAL and entrepreneurial training  
• 1 week digital field trips to industry (Boliden Mines and Boliden Smelters; Höganäs, Swerim; RISE Research Institutes of Sweden)
• Online collaboration in peer groups on case projects
• Final presentation of case studies and workshop in digital workshop with industry representations

At the end of the course, you will be awarded 7.5 credits and unforgettable life experience! The course will start on 8 July and will end on 5 November 2021. 

Tuition

Tuition fee is EUR 700. RIS (Regional Innovation Scheme) region discount 30% will be integrated for students from EIT RIS universities.
